Double Vision brings together the photographic work of Barbara Bogart and Denise Hawkins in a lively visual conversation. After Barbara discovered Denise's work at the Governor's Capitol Art Show in 2024, they became friends. During their subsequent conversations, they discovered their shared affinity for similar Wyoming landscapes and subjects.

Double Vision presents paired photographs that highlight how two artists capture the essence of a single place or subject, each in her own voice. These juxtapositions invite viewers to see how each artist's emotions, techniques, and personal narratives reveal their unique visions of our world.

Show opens September 11 in conjunction with the opening of Barbara Bogart’s solo show at Open Door Studio & Gallery.

Open Door Studio & Gallery

The Photography of Place Exhibition takes place at the Central Wyoming College Art Gallery in Riverton, Wyoming. The exhibition welcomes both experienced and developing artists to return to their roots of authentic photography : the soul.

Photography of Place is “where art finds you” in the western states of Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota. It is an exhibition to celebrate the people, places, and things we see and feel in the west.

This exhibition will run from September 11th to October 16th, with the reception on October 3rd.

Miner’s Boots and Badlands Ranch were both juried into the show.

Robert A Peck Gallery

This All-Wyoming juried exhibit includes 60 works of art by 30 artists from across the state, and is split between Clay Paper Scissors Gallery in Cheyenne and Mystery Print Gallery in Pinedale. The full exhibit of 60 pieces closes later this fall in Casper at ART321.

Rendezvous 2026: A Juried Exhibit of Wyoming Artists

Unbridled

at the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art

Unbridled celebrates women who refuse to be fenced in by genre, by geography, or by expectation. This exhibition welcomes the full spectrum of Western visual culture: from ranch and rodeo to borderlands and back alleys, from high plains light to urban grit, from historical re-visioning to speculative futures. Artists are encouraged to take risks, push scale and material, and submit work that feels most true to their own wild, Western imagination.

Opening Reception is August 7. Show runs to the end of October.

Bullet Holes & Sunbeams has been selected for the show, “Southwest Artist” at Dusk Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, opening September 4th. It’s an honor to have one of my pieces selected to hang in a gallery in one of my favorite places!
